The 2024 Annual Kiwanis Auction is LIVE!
Travel, sports, concert tickets and more are among the wide variety of items up for bid in the Westfield Kiwanis Club’s 55th Annual Auction. As always, the auction will feature merchandise and services donated by Western Massachusetts businesses and other non-profit organizations. Everything will be auctioned to the highest bidders to benefit the children in the Greater Westfield area. The “Super Block” of high-value items like vacations will be available, as well as “big blocks” of items of significant value. The auction supports many community projects and organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Westfield, youth sports programs, literacy programs for kids, high-school equivalency programs for adults, and more. Auction proceeds also fund the purchase of bicycle helmets for local school children and Good Citizen awards for high school students in Westfield and Southwick. On a global level, auction proceeds have been donated to the Kiwanis Children’s Fund, which assists people in need here and around the world.
The annual Kiwanis auction began on local AM radio in Westfield in 1969. It moved to television more than 30 years ago, when the Westfield cable community access channel became available. In 2020, spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic, the auction moved permanently online.
