Add a speaker to a recurring/repeating event

You can add a speaker to a recurring event like a meeting without modifying all the other meetings using the Hourly Schedule feature.

Under the “M.E. Calendar” in the admin section of the website, click on “Speakers” and ensure the speaker already exists in the speaker database. If they don’t, add them to the database.

Find and edit the recurring event in the calendar

Click on the “Occurrences” tab in the “Event Details” box:

Look for an existing occurrence of the date of the meeting you wish to modify. If none exists, select the date from the drop down and click “Add”

Look for the “Hourly Schedule” section and click the “Add Day” button

Under “New Day,” modify the “Title” to say “Guest Speaker” and then click the “Add” button.

Estimate the start and end times, a topic, and a description. Then check off the speaker who will be presenting. Note that the speaker must existing in the speaker’s database before they will appear in this section.

Click the blue “Publish” button
