Members of the Westfield Kiwanis Club joined their fellow members from Springfield, Easthampton, and Northampton Wednesday to celebrate the season and recognize the accomplishments of a long-time Springfield Kiwanian.
Le Maynard, a member of the Kiwanis Club of Springfield for more than 40 years, was recognized by his club for decades of leadership and accomplishment with the Dr. Wil Blechman Fellowship, one of Kiwanis’s highest honors. The award was presented on behalf of the Springfield club by District Governor Adam Wright, who is a member of both the Westfield and Springfield clubs.
The Springfield Kiwanis holiday party, held at the Springfield Lodge of Elks, was enjoyed by all who attended. In addition to a delicious buffet dinner, the younger guests were entertained by the balloon art of popular local entertainer Ed Popielarczyk.
